Ian M. Elliott

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Ian hales from the UK, where he graduated from the University of Wales with an honors degree in Economics.  He immediately stepped into the world of printing and office products, where he has remained for his entire career. Beginning with Burroughs Corporation in the UK, and then moving on to Nu-Kote International in the states, he acquired 27 years of  industry-specific knowledge and large scale corporate experience. His greatest accomplishment during this time was developing and implementing the reverse logistics for recovering 15 million ink & laser cartridges per year providing the raw materials for increasing sales by $125MM over a two year period.

From there he moved on to head up CertiCell, a wireless equipment reverse logistics and asset value preservation, repair, salvage, and recycling business.  During his 5 years there he took it from a family run operation to a $30MM+ per year company with operations in the USA, Hong Kong & Philippines; 600+ employees.  From CertiCell Ian transitioned to establish Print-Rite N.A. Inc. with a mission to develop U.S. distribution of a China-based manufacturer of imaging products.

Ian then went on to enter the entrepreneurial arena with Power Ecommerce, a leading e-commerce technology solutions provider to the office products reseller community. He has now come to the understanding with this vast experience that successful entrepreneurship is the path to independence from the corporate rat race. His mission now is to utilize his unique combination of industry experience and philosophy and strategy to help small businesses in the office supplies industry.

Married for 20+ years, Ian and his wife have three children with the oldest just in college, and two more to follow over the next five years. Ian enjoys woodworking, British soccer, and cycling.  He prefers a good ale over wine most any time, with the exception being a fine Cabernet with a roast lamb dinner. And someday, he will build a scale wooden model of the 18th Century HMS Victory.
